Andrew County blends the fertile Missouri River bottoms along its western edge with the rolling loess uplands that carry much of northwest Missouri's grain and livestock production. The bottomland grows strong corn and soybean crops, while the hills run to pasture, hay, and cattle, and the Platte and Nodaway rivers thread timbered corridors through the county.
